Graduate Engineer - Wind Farm Field Engineer (EU)

Job summary

ONYX Insight is seeking a Graduate Engineer to join our EU Field Engineering team. This role involves hands-on field work, supporting wind farm operations and maintenance with asset condition assessments for onshore and offshore sites across Europe.

You will gain experience in installation of monitoring equipment, RAMS preparation, and delivering clear engineering reports. Travel and on-site work, often at height, are expected as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Renewable Energy Engineering or related field.
• HNC/HND or apprenticeship in a relevant engineering area.
• Strong interest in renewable energy and wind turbine technology.
• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical engineering principles from study/projects.
• Clear, concise technical reporting and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct asset integrity inspections on offshore and European wind farms.
• Install hardware systems such as condition monitoring on wind turbines.
• Manage RAMS and coordinate subcontractors for project delivery.
• Support failure analysis and on-site field engineering projects.
• Prepare and deliver high-quality customer reports.
