Qualifications

• Degree in science, maths, engineering or related numerate discipline.
• Minimum A Level in Maths or Chemistry.
• Interest in data management and evidence‑based decisions.
• Willing to work in Newcastle office and develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Managing, analysing and visualising environmental water quality data to identify trends and impacts.
• Supporting fieldwork and data collection activities as needed.
• Carrying out numerical analysis and modelling to describe water quality systems.
• Applying a source‑pathway‑receptor approach to understand pressures on water bodies.
• Preparing presentations and technical reports to communicate findings.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across water quality and modelling.
