Job summary
Stantec in Glasgow is seeking a Graduate Environmental Water Quality Consultant as part of our 2027 Graduate Programme. You will support our Water Environment discipline and contribute to projects that protect and improve rivers, seas and wider water environments.
This role offers structured development, technical training, and collaboration with leading specialists across the UK, with opportunities for international work and a real impact on environmental projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hydrology, Maths, Physics, Engineering, Computer Programming or environmental-related field.
- Minimum A Level in Maths or Chemistry.
Responsibilities
- Manage, analyse and visualise environmental and water quality data.
- Support fieldwork and environmental monitoring activities where required.
- Undertake numerical analysis and modelling to understand water quality pressures and impacts.
- Prepare presentations, technical reports and evidence-led outputs for clients and project teams.
- Apply source-pathway-receptor thinking to support integrated catchment management and investment planning.
- Develop understanding of environmental chemistry, wastewater treatment, nature-based solutions and catchment management.
