Job summary
Stantec invites applications for its 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Water Resources Consultant in our Birmingham office. You will learn to provide technical advice and innovative solutions within the Water Environment discipline, collaborating with regulators, engineers and planners to drive high‑impact projects across the UK.
You will develop expertise in water resource management, drought planning and climate resilience, supported by mentoring and structured training.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography or Environmental-related subject required.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office are essential.
- Experience with environmental data, GIS or modelling software is beneficial but not required.
Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual understanding and modelling of water resource availability.

- Prepare technical reports, datasets and project deliverables for client decisions.
- Collaborate with water companies, regulators, engineers and planners to support project delivery.
- Assist with Water Resource Management Plans, drought planning and option development studies.
- Apply project management principles to deliver within budgets and scopes.
