Job summary

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or expected degree) in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Geography, Economics, Data Science, Physics or a related discipline.
Strong analytical and numerical skills.
A full right to work in the UK
Excellent problem‑solving ability and attention to detail.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage workload and work effectively within a team environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Enthusiasm for developing a career in transport modelling and transport planning.
Master's degree in Transport Planning, Transport Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

Support the delivery of transport modelling and appraisal projects across a range of sectors.
Assist with the collection, analysis and interpretation of transport and traffic data.
Develop, update, calibrate and validate transport models under supervision of senior colleagues.
Prepare demand forecasts and future transport scenario assessments.
Support the production of technical reports, presentations and project documentation.
Check modelling outputs to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.
Assist with development of business cases, economic appraisals and scheme assessments.
Work collaboratively with transport planners, engineers and other teams.
Attend project meetings and contribute to discussions with clients and stakeholders.
Develop knowledge of transport modelling software and industry best practice.
