Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a related field such as Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering or Urban Planning.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Proactive and collaborative approach to work.

Responsibilities

Data Analysis – Collect, process, and analyse transport data to identify trends.
Scheme Development – Help develop transport proposals and initial designs using tools like AutoCAD.
Transport Modelling – Support development and use of transport models for future scenarios.
Business Cases & Scheme Appraisal – Assist in appraisals following DfT/TAG guidance.
Development Planning – Support planning applications and travel plans reviews.
GIS & Visualisation – Produce maps and spatial analyses using GIS.
