Job summary

Pell Frischmann is seeking a motivated Graduate Transport Modeller to join our Transport Planning team in the UK. You will support the development and application of transport models, work with experienced planners, and gain hands-on experience in model building, data analysis, forecasting and business case development.

You will contribute to projects across highways, public transport, active travel and major infrastructure schemes, with structured training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or expected degree) in Transport Planning, Civil Engineering, Mathematics, Geography, Economics, Data Science, Physics or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Full right to work in the UK.
• Excellent problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage workload and work effectively within a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office applications.
• Enthusiasm for developing a career in transport modelling and planning.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the delivery of transport modelling and appraisal projects across a range of sectors.
• Assisting with collection, analysis and interpretation of transport and traffic data.
• Developing, updating, calibrating and validating transport models under supervision.
• Preparing demand forecasts and future transport scenario assessments.
• Supporting the production of technical reports, presentations and project documentation.
• Checking modelling outputs to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
• Assisting with development of business cases and economic appraisals.
• Working collaboratively with transport planners and engineers.
