Willmott Dixon is launching a Graduate Trainee Programme in the Midlands, based from our Birmingham office. You will rotate across functions including site management, quantity surveying, design, preconstruction and more while building proposals and content to win future projects.

The 2–3 year programme includes paid study, career progression into management, and opportunities to work on flagship projects that make a real difference. Eligible graduates must be degree-qualified by September 2027.

Graduate Trainee Programme – Proposals Manager

Launch your career in construction with our Graduate programme within the Midlands region. Based from our Birmingham office, you'll gain valuable hands‑on experience working on exciting construction projects across the West, Central and East Midlands, helping to shape the communities of tomorrow.

Proposals: You will oversee the proposals process, creating compelling written content and strategies that “wow” our customers, showcase our strengths, and help secure future projects for the business.

Our programme is 2 to 3 years in duration (depending upon your level of academic achievement) and will give you the chance to earn, learn and gain real experience alongside a part‑time study for a relevant qualification that is paid for by Willmott Dixon.

  - (Proposals Management) Degree equivalent in Marketing, Communications, English, History, Social Sciences, or construction‑related subject
• (Desirable) You have had some exposure to construction (work experience, placement or similar).
