Job summary

Willmott Dixon is launching a Graduate & Degree Apprenticeship Programme for a Building Services Manager (Mechanical & Electrical). Based from our Nottingham or Birmingham office, the scheme runs 2–4 years with paid study and real project experience across the Midlands.

You gain hands-on exposure, rotating through site management, preconstruction and other functions, with a pathway into management roles and a buddy from day one. Applications close 22nd November 2026.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification by September 2027.
• 5 GCSE’s grade 4/C or above including English, Maths and Science (or equivalent).
• All applicants must have a minimum level 3 qualification by September 2027 (A-Level, T-Level, BTEC or equivalent).
• Desirable: some exposure to construction (work experience, placement or similar).

Responsibilities

• Develop and assist with the mechanical and electrical strategy and delivery of services during preconstruction and delivery phases.
• Provide leadership to the supply chain to drive high-quality technical solutions that meet budgets and timescales.
• Support delivery on live projects.

Based from our Nottingham or Birmingham office, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience working on exciting construction projects across the West, Central and East Midlands, helping to shape the communities of tomorrow.

Building Services Manager(Mechanical & Electrical) – you will develop and assist with the mechanical and electrical strategy and delivery of services during preconstruction and delivery phases of the project. Providing leadership to the supply chain to drive high-quality technical solutions that meet budgets and timescales.

Our programme is 2 to 4 years in duration (depending upon your level of academic achievement) and will give you the chance to earn, learn and gain real experience alongside a part-time study for a relevant qualification that is paid for by Willmott Dixon.
