Job summary

Willmott Dixon is offering a 2 to 3 year graduate programme based from our Cardiff office, giving hands-on experience on South Wales projects and paid study through a qualifying program. The scheme provides competitive salary, annual increases, and protected time for college/uni study funded by the company.

You’ll gain real responsibility on live projects, receive a buddy from day one, and have opportunities to progress into management roles after completion.

Qualifications

• Right to work in the UK is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• You will be degree qualified by September 2027, ideally in Environmental, Sustainability, Engineering, Construction, STEM or Law-related subjects.
• Desirable: exposure to construction (work experience, placement or similar).

Responsibilities

• Structured rotations across functions including site management, quantity surveying, design, preconstruction and more.
• Support delivery of live projects with real responsibility.
• You will be allocated a buddy from day one and have access to trainee challenges, away days, CITB college and professional memberships.

Launch your career in construction with our Graduate programme within the Wales & West region. Based from our office in Cardiff, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience working on exciting construction projects across the South Wales region, helping to shape the communities of tomorrow.

Environmental

Drive environmental performance across projects by reducing risk, identifying opportunities, and promoting sustainable practices. Monitor compliance with legal and company standards and provide clear performance feedback.

Our programme is 2 to 3 years in duration (depending upon your level of academic achievement) and will give you the chance to earn, learn and gain real experience alongside a part-time study for a relevant qualification that is paid for by Willmott Dixon.

Essential Criteria
