Job summary

AECOM is offering a graduate Town/Urban Planning position in London or Bristol with a structured 2-year ADVANCE programme and hybrid working. You will work on land use projects, support plan making, development management and major infrastructure work while pursuing RTPI accreditation.

We expect a degree in Town/Urban Planning, strong communication and report writing, and a collaborative, motivated mindset. Permanent right to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Degree or postgraduate qualification in Town/Urban Planning.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and report writing ability.
• Ability to work in teams and manage time to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical inputs to land use planning projects within a multidisciplinary team.
• Assist with planning consent applications for energy, water, infrastructure and large-scale residential schemes.
• Carry out planning research and identify planning risks.
• Support business development, proposals and qualification documents.
• Represent the organisation and develop client and stakeholder relationships.
