Job summary

AECOM is offering a graduate opportunity in planning with a multidisciplinary UK team in Bristol and London. You will support a range of land use planning projects, work closely with planners, engineers and environmental specialists, and contribute to planning consent applications.

You will develop skills in policy planning, masterplanning and stakeholder engagement while benefiting from training and career development opportunities provided by AECOM.

Qualifications

• A graduate with a degree or post graduate level qualification in Town or Urban Planning or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication, presentation and report writing skills.
• Able to work on own initiative and under pressure.
• Competent in the use of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• An understanding of UK Planning policy and legislation.

Responsibilities

• Support a wide variety of projects and engage with clients and stakeholders to secure planning outcomes.
• Assist with plan making, development management and infrastructure projects.
• Contribute to proposals and qualification documents to secure commissions.
• Develop relationships with clients, local authorities and stakeholders.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team including planners, engineers and landscape architects.
