Job summary

Ark St Alban's Academy is seeking a dedicated practitioner to support SEN/D pupils, working directly with them inside and outside the classroom to raise achievement and progress.

You will collaborate with the SENDCO, speech and language therapists and external agencies to deliver targeted interventions and specialist support, aiming to increase impact over time and help vulnerable pupils thrive.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with SEN/D in a school setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Passion for raising the achievement of vulnerable pupils.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils in their learning of the curriculum and in targeted interventions.
• Coordinate between teachers, parents and the wider pastoral team.
• Work with SENDCO, speech and language therapist and external agencies.
• Lead work to support specific pupils or specific SEN/D needs.
