Job summary

KPI Education are hiring a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Birmingham to support pupils across KS3 and KS4, working closely with teachers to raise attainment.

You will provide small group and 1:1 interventions, assist with lesson preparation and resource management, and monitor student progress to feed back to staff. This is a fantastic stepping stone to teacher training within a supportive secondary school environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a 2:1 or first class in Education, Psychology, English, Maths or a related subject from a leading university.
• Passion for education and working with young people.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Support classroom learning across KS3-4
• Provide small group and 1:1 intervention to raise attainment
• Assist with lesson preparation and resource management
• Help monitor student progress and engagement and provide feedback to teachers
• Encourage a culture of confidence, resilience and ambition
