Job summary

KPI Education is seeking a motivated Graduate Science Teaching Assistant to support a Birmingham campus. You will assist in Biology, Chemistry and Physics, delivering targeted support to Key Stages 3 and 4, and helping raise attainment while you gain practical classroom experience ahead of teacher training.

This role is full-time with an immediate or September start, and offers mentoring from experienced educators, plus opportunities for professional development within a welcoming secondary

Qualifications

• A 2:1 or higher degree in a Science-related subject.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proactive, patient, and adaptable.
• Experience with children/young people desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support Biology, Chemistry, and Physics lessons.
• Deliver 1:1 and small-group interventions.
• Assist with lesson preparation, resources and activities.
• Help students build confidence and engagement in Science.
• Encourage positive behaviour in the classroom.
• Contribute to an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
