Job summary

Guardian Jobs is recruiting a Graduate Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant for an Outstanding all-through school in Hindhead, Surrey. This full-time role offers a one-year fixed-term contract or a permanent position, with a weekly salary of £550–£575.

You will work closely with teachers to maximise academic potential, deliver targeted interventions, and support literacy, numeracy and study skills across key stages. Degree and strong GCSE/A-Level results are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide classroom support across a range of subjects and key stages.

• Help create an engaging, inclusive learning environment.
• Work with teachers to prepare resources and support lesson delivery.
• Support students socially, emotionally, and academically.
• Encourage pupil participation, confidence and independence.
• Contribute to pastoral and wellbeing provision.
