Job summary

JobsinED is seeking a motivated graduate to join an all-through school in Hounslow as a Primary Teaching Assistant from September. You’ll support pupils across Key Stage 1 and 2, working with class teachers on phonics, literacy and numeracy, in a calm, structured learning environment.

This full-time role offers a daily rate up to £115 depending on experience, with long-term progression opportunities and a clear pathway into teacher training.

Responsibilities

• Support class teachers in delivering phonics, literacy, and numeracy lessons
• Lead small group interventions to reinforce key learning concepts
• Assist with classroom organisation and preparation of learning materials
• Provide targeted support to pupils who need additional guidance
• Observe teaching strategies and develop your own classroom understanding
• Encourage positive behaviour through consistent reinforcement of routines
