Graphcore is offering a two-year Graduate Programme in System Software Quality Assurance. You’ll join as a Graduate Software Engineer with a focus on validating firmware and Linux kernel drivers, designing tests, and contributing to CI pipelines.

Start date is September 2027, with locations in Bristol or Cambridge, UK, and a permanent role after completion. You will work closely with a team of engineers, learn through hands-on experience, and grow your skills in hardware interaction and test

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Maths, Data Science or a related field.
• Experience working with Linux internals and/or firmware.
• Strong proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
• Clear written and verbal communication with a collaborative, practical approach to solving technical problems and taking ownership of quality work.
• Knowledge of low-level software testing, virtualization, hypervisor concepts or automation pipelines is useful but not essential.

Aufgaben

• Validate low-level firmware, Linux kernel drivers and platform tools.
• Design and develop tests and investigate issues, providing feedback on software quality.
• Maintain and improve CI pipelines across different platforms.
• Collaborate with System Software development teams to strengthen test-driven development.
• Contribute to building automation pipelines to run tests and process results.
