Job summary

RGB Network in Aberdeen is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join its team. You will work on rail, heritage, residential and major infrastructure projects, gaining exposure from concept through construction while developing toward professional chartership.

You will grow CAD skills, produce calculations and reports, attend site inspections, and liaise with contractors and clients in a structured training environment with mentoring.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Genuine interest in structural/civil engineering design.
• Motivated to learn and develop towards professional chartership.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of engineering concepts and practical design solutions.
• Produce engineering calculations, reports and technical documentation.
• Prepare and review CAD drawings and design information.
• Undertake risk assessments and support safe design practices.
• Attend site inspections, surveys and project meetings.
• Support projects from initial enquiry through to completion.
• Liaise with contractors, clients and internal design teams.
• Participate in structured training and professional development programmes.
