Bennett & Game Recruitment Ltd. is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer in Glasgow with 2+ years post-graduate experience to support local and national engineering teams.

The role covers structural surveys, calculations and drawings for residential, commercial and industrial properties, plus advisory work for the insurance sector. The ideal candidate has a degree in Structural/Civil Engineering, is on track for chartership, and holds a UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural / Civil Engineering or similar, accredited by IStructE or ICE
• 2 years' experience as a Graduate Engineer
• Experience in consulting engineering, surveying, architectural & planning
• Experience in working to deadlines and within budgets
• UK Driving Licence + Car

Graduate Structural Engineer - 2+ Years' Experience

Location: Glasgow

Salary up to £35,000, benefits, pay reviews, bonuses, and chartership support

Our client, a multi-disciplinary UK wide Consultancy with 350 staff and a £30 million turnover, who are in a growth period, are looking for a Structural Engineer to be based from their office in Glasgow with Hybrid working options. The Structural Engineer will be providing support to the local and national Engineering teams on a wide range of projects, including structural surveys and preparation of reports, calculations, design and preparation of drawings designs for residential, commercial and industrial properties as well as providing advice to the insurance sector and assisting with regional frameworks.

The Ideal Structural Engineer will preferably have 2+ years post graduate experience within a Multi-Disciplinary Consultancy Environment. The Structural Engineer will have a good working knowledge of construction methods, materials and building regulations with ambition, drive and passion for the sector.

• Salary: up to £35,000 DOE
• Holiday 25 days plus BH increasing with service
