Strata Construction Consulting UK Ltd in the Nottinghamshire area is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer with around 2 years of industry experience to join a supportive, growing team. You will work across residential, commercial, industrial, and education sectors on structural design from concept to completion.

You will assist with design, produce calculations and drawings, and support senior engineers while gaining exposure to a wide project mix and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• ~2 years of UK consultancy experience.
• Knowledge of British Standards/Eurocodes.
• Experience with design software such as Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, MasterSeries or similar.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or Revit is advantageous.
• Strong communication and proactive learning mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the design of structural projects using steel, concrete, timber, and masonry.
• Produce structural calculations, reports, and technical drawings.
• Support senior engineers in the delivery of projects from inception to completion.
• Attend site visits and carry out structural inspections when required.
• Liaise with architects, contractors, and clients throughout the project lifecycle.
• Contribute to design meetings and technical discussions.
• Work towards chartership with ICE or IStructE.

An established and growing structural engineering consultancy in Nottinghamshire is looking to recruit a Graduate Structural Engineer with around 2 years' industry experience to join its close-knit and supportive team.
