Job summary

Edmundson Electrical is recruiting ambitious graduates to be based at one of their 400 UK profit centres as a Graduate Sales Trainee. You will receive on-the-job training, exposure to products and markets, and a funded sales training programme. Progression to external sales and management roles is available for high performers.

Salary: £31,000 per annum with a lucrative profit share scheme. No prior experience required; a strong work ethic and team spirit are essential.

Qualifications

• Fantastic verbal and written communication skills.
• Full, clean UK driving licence.
• Strong work ethic and a team player who can also work well on their own initiative.
• Role requires occasional Saturday mornings; business trades 6 days a week.
• You have finished studying and are ready for an immediate start!

Responsibilities

• Base in a branch; training in a warehouse to learn products and procedures.
• Work through departments including trade counter to build long-term skills.
• Around month 3 start selling; contact lapsed/dormant accounts and self-source new ones.
• Undertake industry-leading sales training to build confidence and capability.
• Progress toward external sales and potential management opportunities.
