Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Graduate Road Drainage Engineer to join the Road Drainage team in the UK. This role focuses on drainage design and hydraulic engineering for roads and transport infrastructure, with guidance from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• BEng with 2:1 or higher in Civil/General Engineering is required.
• MEng or Master’s in Water/Hydraulics is advantageous.
• Interest in drainage design for road and transport infrastructure.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good report writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support design and assessment of drainage systems for roads.
• Carry drainage and hydraulic calculations and analyses.
• Develop drainage strategies and surface water management solutions.
• Assist with hydraulic modelling and analysis of networks.
• Collaborate with engineers and environmental specialists.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
