Leonardo invites graduates to join a motivated RF/Microwave engineering track within an 18-month Graduate Programme at either Edinburgh or Newcastle. You’ll work with subject matter experts to design, test, and integrate RF components while developing through coaching and chartership support.

The programme starts with a £34,000 annual salary plus a £1,000 welcome bonus and may include a £1,000 exit bonus after completion, plus a Temporary Accommodation Allowance subject to criteria.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 or higher in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Preferred degrees: Electrical/Electronic Eng, Communications Eng, Eng Physics, Math/Physics.
• Strong interest in microwave and RF design; training available for CST, HFSS, ADS.

Responsibilities

• Gain experience across the development lifecycle from requirements to testing.
• Collaborate with Systems, Software and Mechanical engineers; interface with customers when needed.
• Design, test and integrate RF & Microwave components on Edinburgh or Newcastle sites.
• Prepare technical documentation and present findings to stakeholders.
• Participate in technical reviews; role may involve UK or international reviews.
