Job summary

Leonardo in the UK is launching a 18-month Graduate Microwave Engineer programme in Luton. You’ll contribute to real projects from day one, work with experts, and gain hands-on experience across the microwave design cycle.

The role offers flexible, hybrid working arrangements with occasional UK and overseas travel to support reviews and customer engagements. We’re seeking graduates with a STEM degree (2:2 or higher) and interest in RF engineering, ready to develop into professional engineers

Qualifications

• Minimum 2:2 or higher in a STEM field (e.g., Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Physics, Maths).
• Interest in RF/microwave engineering and high-frequency electronics; strong problem solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development of RF/microwave technologies for Electronic Warfare solutions.
• Design, simulate and analyse microwave circuits and subsystems.
• Conduct laboratory testing and validation with RF/microwave equipment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate microwave solutions.
