Qualifications

• Educated to Degree level in a RICS APC accredited degree.
• Willing to work in different locations across UK and Ireland.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head of Estates and Estates, Disposals and Development Managers with land and mineral acquisition, strategic estate management and development and disposal of surplus sites.
• Review the land development portfolio and work with Development and Disposals Managers to identify opportunities to enhance value and assist with disposal of assets.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to support land disposal targets and align with strategic objectives; support initiatives to enhance rental income and unlock development opportunities.
• Work within planning consents for mineral extraction and related operations.
• Ensure compliance with planning permissions, lease agreements, and tenure arrangements.
• Prepare or coordinate planning applications and interpret consultant reports.
• Build understanding of property ownership, landlord-tenant dynamics, and planning policy frameworks.
• Engage with external stakeholders such as local communities, statutory bodies, landlords, and planning authorities.
• Develop and use Tarmac’s Electronic Property Information System.
• Participate in the Graduate Core Skills Development Programme to broaden business knowledge and network.
