Job summary

Arup, a global advisory and design consultancy, seeks Graduate Railway Safety Risk and Reliability Consultants in the UK to join a multidisciplinary safety team. You will engage with clients, understand their business, identify and mitigate risks, and support projects across rail and related critical infrastructure.

You will work within a collaborative environment, pursuing professional qualification while contributing to bids, budgets, and project deliverables.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree on track to achieve 2:1/60% or higher.
• Excellent written, verbal and communication skills.
• Clear understanding of hazards, consequences and risk.
• Interest in railways, railway engineering safety management, system safety management, and interoperability (CSM-RA, EN standards).
• Highly motivated, eager to learn, and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with clients and project stakeholders.
• Involvement in business development, bids, proposals and budget management.
• Consulting role requiring strong interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Contribute to developing engineering solutions that meet client needs.
