Job summary

Qualifications

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related construction discipline.
Good numerical and analytical skills.
Strong communication and organisational skills; IT skills, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

Assist with quotations, estimates and tenders.
Measure works and prepare bills of quantities.
Obtain and compare subcontractor and supplier quotations.
Assist with procurement of subcontract packages.
Monitor project costs and budgets.
Prepare valuations and applications for payment.
Assist with variations and final accounts.
Attend project and commercial meetings.
Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and site teams.
Support the commercial team throughout the full project lifecycle.
