Job summary

Rogers McHugh in Leeds is looking for a Graduate Quantity Surveyor to join a busy commercial team. Fresh graduates (minimum 2:1) or those with 1–2 years of QS experience are welcome.

You will work across small shopfitting and retail projects, delivering costs, procurement and commercial reporting under guidance. The role requires a driven, organised individual who can handle deadlines and adapt to a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management or related construction subject.
• Minimum 2:1 degree preferred for graduates.
• Some experience in Quantity Surveying is welcome but not required.
• Experience in shopfitting, retail fit out or commercial fit out is useful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the Quantity Surveying function across small shopfitting and retail projects.
• Gain experience in cost management, procurement, valuations, variations, subcontractor payments and reporting.
• Attend site visits and respond quickly when priorities change.
• Develop a solid grounding in commercial processes through live projects.
