PPM Recruitment is seeking a Graduate Quantity Surveyor in Leeds to join a privately owned main contractor. You will gain hands-on commercial experience on live projects across offices, residential, commercial and healthcare sectors.

The role offers structured training, mentoring from senior QS, and clear career progression along with a supportive, team‑focused environment. Degree in QS or related discipline preferred; Excel and numerical skills valued.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• Strong numerical and analytical skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Good communication and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Assisting with client valuations and applications for payment
• Supporting monthly cost reporting and forecasting
• Monitoring project costs and maintaining commercial records
• Assisting with tendering and estimating activities
• Supporting subcontract procurement and management
• Reviewing subcontractor applications and variations
• Assisting with contract administration
• Supporting risk and opportunity assessments
• Assisting with final accounts
• Providing commercial support to Project Managers and Senior QS
• Maintaining project documentation
• Understanding commercial and contractual requirements
