Job summary

Unknown is seeking an Entry Level Quantity Surveyor in Leeds City Centre to begin a career in quantity surveying with structured training and professional support. The role offers exposure to a wide variety of projects across private and public sectors.

Key responsibilities include assisting in cost estimates, budgets and tender documents, supporting measurement and valuation of works, and liaising with clients and contractors. A degree in Quantity Surveying is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or related construction discipline.
• Prior office experience in the property sector (desirable).
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work as part of a team and under your own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and tender documents.
• Support all internal team members.
• Support the measurement and valuation of works in progress.
• Help in managing project costs to ensure they remain within budget.
• Prepare interim and final valuations, variations, and cost reports.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Gain experience with contract administration and procurement.
• Contribute to risk management and value engineering activities.
