Amida Consulting Solutions Ltd seeks a Graduate/Trainee Quantity Surveyor to work under the guidance of a Commercial Manager and collaborate with the existing commercial team.

The role involves supporting commercial and financial management on construction projects while you train or study toward a formal qualification, tracking costs, budgets, and administering contracts from pre-contract to final account. A BSc/MSc in Quantity Surveying with about one year left is preferred.

Qualifications

• BSc or MSc in Quantity Surveying.
• One year left to complete your degree.

Responsabilités

• Support the commercial and financial management of construction projects, while in training or studying toward a formal qualification.
• Assist the commercial team in tracking costs, managing budgets, and administering contracts from pre-contract stages through to final account settlement.
• Assist with preparing project budgets, cost plans, and interim valuations.
• Help send out enquiries, evaluate quotes, and set up subcontractor orders.
• Facilitate in gathering site records to draft client valuations and applications for payments.
• Help track project variations, early warning notices, and compensation events under contracts like JCT or NEC.
• Maintain commercial files, input data into internal financial systems, and assist with monthly margin reports.
