Job summary

Amey is offering an Operations Project Graduate role within the Ministry of Defence account, joining the Pre-Construction Project Management team. The 2-year graduate pathway includes mentoring, a structured learning plan, and support toward a relevant professional qualification.

The role involves development of scopes of work, coordination with stakeholders, and progression toward ownership of projects while gaining experience in project management, construction, supplier management, and health

Qualifications

• Degree in Construction or Project Management (2:2 minimum).
• Driving licence is essential.
• High motivation and initiative; self-starter.
• Available to join the programme in September 2027.
• CTC/DBS clearance will be required for this role.

Responsibilities

• Support development and production of scopes of work, technical specifications and project documentation for estate improvement and refurbishment projects across MOD Service Family Accommodation.
• Assist Pre-Construction Project Managers and Building Surveyors with surveys, technical assessments and pre-construction activities.
• Develop knowledge across the full pre-construction process, including CDM Regulations and Building Regulations compliance.
• Support identification and management of project risks, constraints, compliance and design issues.
• Coordinate consultants, designers, contractors and other stakeholders to define and develop project requirements.
• Attend meetings and assist with meeting records, actions and progress reports.
• Assist with preparation of programmes, cost information, tender documentation and contractor submissions.
• Support project management through survey, design, approvals, tender and handover into delivery.
