Job summary

ASSYSTEM is launching a two-year Graduate Programme within its Project Controls team in the UK. The programme provides exposure to planning, cost management, risk analysis, change control and performance reporting across energy, infrastructure and defence projects.

You’ll work with real project information, learn how projects are planned, monitored and delivered, and gain hands-on experience with dashboards and data analysis while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Graduates who have recently completed, or expect to complete, a degree in any discipline before joining the Graduate Programme.
• Enjoy working with numbers, information and data to understand how something is performing.
• Are curious and willing to question what the information is telling you.
• Can identify patterns, solve problems and explain your findings clearly; have strong organisational skills and can manage different tasks and deadlines.
• Communicate clearly and enjoy working with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• From day one, you’ll work with real project information to help teams understand performance and make better decisions.
• You’ll support the collection and analysis of data, contribute to plans and reports, and help identify where projects may be moving away from agreed time, cost or delivery targets.
• Your main responsibilities include: supporting the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, forecasts and baselines; collecting, checking and analysing project information; helping monitor progress, costs, risks and changes; identifying trends and raising them with the team; supporting dashboards and management information; maintaining risk, change, action and decision records; working with project managers, planners, cost specialists, engineers, commercial teams and stakeholders; contributing to meetings and improvement activities.
