Job summary

Assystem is launching a two-year Graduate Programme in Project Management. You’ll join our Defence business and work with experienced project professionals on complex engineering and infrastructure projects.

From day one you’ll contribute to live projects, coordinate people and information, and progressively take on greater responsibility as your knowledge, skills and confidence develop. We’ll support your growth and readiness for delivery.

Qualifications

• Graduates with degree in Project Management or Business Management, or Engineering considered.
• Interested in how complex engineering projects are planned, coordinated and delivered.
• Enjoy bringing people together, solving problems and completing tasks.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and deadlines.
• Able to analyse information, maintain attention to detail and produce clear written work.
• Confident communication and relationship-building with colleagues and stakeholders.
• Proactive, reliable and willing to take responsibility for actions.
• Curious, adaptable and eager to learn from experienced project professionals.

Responsibilities

• From day one, contribute to live projects and coordinate people, activities and information.
• Work under guidance of experienced Project Managers, gradually taking on more responsibility.
• Learn cross-functional requirements and contribute to project delivery.
• Assist with project governance, change control, meetings and decision making.
• Prepare clear project reports, meeting packs and progress updates.
• Build relationships with clients, stakeholders, suppliers and delivery partners.
• Support handover, close-out, lessons learned and continuous improvement activities.
