Job summary

Assystem is launching a two-year Graduate Programme in Project Controls in the UK. You will work on real programmes across energy, infrastructure and defence, gaining experience in planning, cost management, risk, change control and performance reporting.

From day one you will handle data-driven analysis, support dashboards and reports, and learn to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while developing your specialist knowledge.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate or expected to graduate before starting the Programme.
• Enjoy working with numbers, information and data to understand performance.
• Curious and willing to question what information is telling you.
• Identify patterns, solve problems and explain your findings clearly.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Clear communication with colleagues, clients and stakeholders.
• Proactive, reliable and eager to learn from experienced team members.
• Interest in how complex projects are planned, monitored and delivered.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, forecasts and baselines.
• Collect, check and analyse project information from different teams and systems.
• Help monitor progress, costs, risks and changes against targets.
• Identify trends, variances and emerging issues and raise them with senior team members.
• Assist in preparing dashboards, performance reports and management information.
• Maintain risk, change, action and decision records.
• Collaborate with project managers, planners, cost specialists, engineers and commercial teams.
• Participate in project meetings, reviews and improvement activities while developing specialist knowledge.
