Job summary

Assystem is recruiting for a two-year Graduate Programme in Project Management within our Defence business in the UK. You’ll work with experienced project professionals on complex engineering and infrastructure projects, supporting planning, governance, risk, change, cost, quality and stakeholder management.

From day one you’ll contribute to live projects, develop your project management skills, and build relationships across engineering, commercial, and project controls teams.

Qualifications

• Graduates with a degree in Project Management or Business Management before joining the programme (Engineering degrees considered).
• Interested in planning, coordinating and delivering complex engineering and infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the development and maintenance of project plans, schedules, actions and delivery milestones.
• Helping define and track project scope, requirements and agreed deliverables.
• Coordinating information and activities across engineering, commercial, project controls and other multidisciplinary teams.
• Supporting the identification and management of project risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
• Assisting with project governance, change control, meetings and decision making processes.
• Preparing clear project reports, meeting packs, presentations and progress updates.
• Building effective relationships with clients, stakeholders, suppliers and delivery partners.
• Supporting project handover, close-out, lessons learned and continuous improvement activities.
