South Lanarkshire Council invites graduates to join the Procurement Service as Trainee Procurement Officer(s). The role develops broad purchasing and negotiation knowledge, with mentorship and a path to the CIPS Level 4 Diploma.

You will handle projects from day one, working in a supportive team to meet procurement objectives while progressing through structured levels. Annual salary is £31,242-£38,779.

Qualifikationen

• An honours degree with a genuine enthusiasm for developing a career in procurement.
• Candidates with a minimum 2:1 degree in supply chain, business, procurement or law, or equivalent procurement experience.
• Highly developed communication and analytical skills; commercial or administrative experience is desirable.

• Manage your own procurement projects from day one with mentor and line manager support.
• Work in a fast-paced team to deliver daily procurement activities across Council contracts.
