Job summary

W Talent is seeking a motivated Buyer to start a career in procurement and supply chain. You will support the purchasing function, raise orders, manage supplier deliveries, and help maintain stock to meet customer demand in a growing team.

Full training and sponsorship towards CIPS qualifications are available, plus structured progression within procurement. This role offers exposure to supplier management, inventory control, and continuous improvement in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and relationship-building.
• Confident with Microsoft Excel and Office apps.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Commercial awareness and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Raise purchase orders and manage supplier deliveries.
• Monitor order confirmations and on-time delivery.
• Build relationships with suppliers and handle day-to-day communications.
• Assist with sourcing new suppliers and products.
• Support Senior Buyer with supplier reviews and cost-saving initiatives.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records in the ERP system.
• Produce reports and analyse purchasing data.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure product availability.
• Support continuous improvement in procurement processes.
