Job summary

Unilever in Port Sunlight Village, Wirral, is seeking an interim Graduate Process Engineer to join its fast-paced FMCG environment.

The role is full-time temporary until end of January 2027, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with a competitive £42,000 per annum pro rata.

You will own line performance analytics, line settings, changeover improvements, and lead problem solving and SMED workshops to drive loss reduction.

Qualifications

• Graduate engineer with strong analytical mindset and operating knowledge.
• Experience in FMCG or manufacturing environments is a plus.
• Ability to visualize and implement production system improvements.

Responsibilities

• Owns stops and performance data analytics for the line.
• Owns line heat map for loss stratification and KPI reporting.
• Drives development of performance analytics tools.
• Leads SMED workshops to improve changeover times.
• Owns line settings and changeover processes for continuous improvement.
• Coaches operators and supports problem solving sessions.
