Job summary

Manpower are currently seeking an interim Graduate Process Engineer to join our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil and Simple. The role is based at Port Sunlight Village, Wirral and is a full-time temporary appointment to end January 2027, requiring 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

You will own the performance data analytics, line settings and changeover processes, lead SMED workshops, and drive loss elimination.

Qualifications

• Post graduate engineers with a flair for improvement engineering and coaching.
• Direct Entry role for post Level 4 apprentices or experienced shift engineer/focused technicians with an aptitude for loss and waste elimination.
• Progression role for operating technicians with strong technical knowledge of the processes and lines.

Responsibilities

• Owns stops and performance data analytics for the line, provides stops, MTBS and OEE data for meetings.
• Owns line heat map for loss stratification and top loss identification.
• Continuously drives development of performance analytics tools.
• Owns line settings process, deployment, execution and KPI reporting for continuous improvement.
• Owns the changeover process, deployment, execution and KPI reporting for continuous improvement.
• Leads SMED workshops to improve the changeover process.
• Owns the problem solving process for the line and provides SME support.
