Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Leeds invites you to join our 2027 Graduate Programme as a Graduate Mechanical Engineer. You will support design and delivery of mechanical engineering solutions across water and broader projects.

You will learn from a local team of around 15 colleagues, mentored by a regional network of engineers and a national team. The role develops skills in calculations, reports, drawings and modelling toward chartered status.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Engineering Design or other relevant degree.
• Unconditional right to live and work in the UK for an indefinite period.
• Graduate programme with office presence in Leeds (4 days per week).

Responsibilities

• Produce engineering calculations to support mechanical design decisions.
• Prepare reports, drawings and specifications for project deliverables.
• Support coordination and modelling activities within multidisciplinary design teams.
• Work with colleagues across mechanical, electrical, public health and wider engineering to develop integrated solutions.
• Develop technical knowledge across engineering design, project delivery and professional practice.
• Engage in mentoring, training and structured graduate development.
