Stantec invites applications for a Graduate Mechanical Engineer based in Newcastle. The role supports the design and delivery of mechanical engineering solutions across water and wider projects, with opportunities to contribute to calculations, reports, drawings, and modelling.

You will work with experienced engineers, benefit from mentoring toward chartered status, and participate in structured graduate development while rotating through multidisciplinary teams across local and national

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Interest in gaining hands-on experience across mechanical design and project delivery.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Produce engineering calculations to support mechanical design decisions.
• Prepare reports, drawings and specifications for project deliverables.
• Support coordination and modelling activities within multidisciplinary design teams.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, public health and other engineers to develop integrated solutions.
• Develop technical knowledge across engineering design and project delivery.
