Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. in Newcastle is recruiting a Graduate Process Engineer to join our Process Engineering team and contribute to water and wastewater projects.

You will gain hands-on exposure to treatment, recycling and clean water solutions with opportunities for site visits and client interactions. You will analyse data, support option development and design calculations, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams while pursuing professional accreditation with IChemE/CIWEM

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Process Engineering and a keen interest in the water industry.
• Ambition to pursue accreditation with IChemE and CIWEM depending on pathway.
• Willingness to be based in Newcastle and work four days per week in office.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and interpret technical data to inform design decisions.
• Contribute to option development, design calculations, and engineering deliverables.
• Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, environmental and modelling specialists.
• Support client and stakeholder engagement through clear communication and technical input.
• Develop understanding of sustainable process solutions including nature-based approaches.
