Job summary

Arcadis is seeking graduates for its two-year GROW Programme to kickstart a career in mechanical engineering. You will join diverse teams across rail, energy networks, and water, contributing to meaningful client engagements from day one and developing professional skills through cohort training.

You will gain experience on projects from local schemes to international developments, with opportunities to travel and work across the UK and beyond as you build technical expertise and client-facing

Qualifications

You will be graduating in 2027 or have recently graduated in 2025 or 2026 with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree.
Rail role requires MEng or MSc in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering (Mechanical pathway).
Roles within Energy and Renewables & Water expect mechanical engineering content.

Responsibilities

Support design across mechanical systems for rail, energy, and water sectors.
Contribute to digital modelling, technical calculations, and design development.
Work with multidisciplinary teams to progress projects toward professional qualification.
Travel and site visits may be required to support project delivery.
