Job summary

Hoare Lea in Cardiff is seeking a Graduate Mechanical Engineer to contribute to building services design across sectors. You will gain exposure to HVAC, drainage and control systems, while supporting modelling work and creating detailed drawings.

You will work with senior engineers on live projects, engage in CPD, and benefit from a structured development path and mentorship to support chartership goals.

Qualifications

• 2.1 or higher IMechE or CIBSE accredited Mechanical Engineering degree
• Excellent communication, analytical and organisational skills
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Friendly, ambitious and confident with a flexible approach

Responsibilities

• Assist in producing detailed designs and drawings for HVAC and control systems
• Model using CAD and Revit to develop building services layouts
• Collaborate with project teams and clients through meetings
• Engage in CPD and development opportunities
