Babcock International Group is launching a Mechanical Engineering Graduate Programme in Rosyth, Scotland. The role offers a minimum starting salary of £35,000 and rotations every 3–6 months across the engineering lifecycle, including design, production, and in-service support.

You'll work with a global engineering network, receive mentorship, and pursue Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, with potential relocation to different UK sites as the programme progresses.

Qualifications

• BEng or MEng in Mechanical, Structural, Motorsport, Materials, Mechatronics, Engine Systems, Welding, Automotive, or AeroMechanical is required or expected.
• BPSS and Security Check (SC) clearance are required for the programme.
• Security clearance and BPSS/SC may affect eligibility as outlined by GOV.UK.

Responsibilities

• Work across the mechanical engineering lifecycle from concept to in-service support and decommissioning.
• Participate in rotations across placements every 3–6 months to broaden experience.
• Lead small projects or teams as you progress within the programme.
• Support development toward Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status.
