Job summary

BMT Group in Bath is offering a Graduate Marine Engineer role within its UK & Europe Marine Engineering team. The two-year graduate programme provides structured training, mentoring toward Chartered Engineer status, and exposure to both defence and commercial maritime projects across ships and submarines.

We seek graduates with Marine, Electrical or Mechanical engineering degrees, strong communication and teamwork, and a drive to deliver high‑quality service.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree in Marine/Mechanical/Electrical engineering or similar.
• Interest in working within the maritime domain.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Pride in delivering first-class service and pursuing Chartered status.

Responsibilities

• Graduate training from experienced engineers with support toward professional qualification.
• Work on projects across Defence and Commercial maritime domains (ships/submarines).
