Job summary

BMT is seeking Graduate Naval Architects to join the Naval Architecture team across the UK. You will work alongside experienced naval architects and engineers on a diverse portfolio of vessels and technical challenges.

The two-year development programme includes tailored development, on-the-job experience and mentorship, with IPD accreditation by RINA to support professional progression.

Qualifications

• Degree in naval architecture or related discipline, Master’s preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally.

Responsibilities

• Design and development of ships and related vessels.
• Naval architecture studies and technical assessments.
• Vessel performance, stability and general arrangement analysis.
• In-service support and development of solutions for existing vessels.
