Job summary

BMT invites graduates to join its Marine Engineering team in the UK Bath office on a 2-year development programme, with training from experienced engineers and support toward Chartered Engineer status. The role is hybrid with flexibility to work from home and offices, and may require travel to customer sites.

You will work on diverse projects across defence and commercial sectors, across ships and submarines, gaining hands-on experience and opportunities to influence training and project

Qualifications

• A relevant degree such as Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• An interest to work within the Maritime domain; commitment to professional growth.
• Excellent communication and team-building skills.
• Pride in their work and a desire to deliver first-class service and pursue Chartered Engineer status.

Responsibilities

• Work on projects across defence and commercial maritime domains including ships and submarines.
• Collaborate with engineers to develop innovative marine solutions.
• Pursue professional qualification toward Chartered Engineer status with company support.
